It depends on what you sell and how you'd like to manage the store. Shopify is the easiest for a shop owner to run day to day, WooCommerce fits a business already on WordPress, and a custom build makes sense when the store needs to do something the off-the-shelf options can't. I'll recommend one on our first call and explain the tradeoffs, including the monthly fees each one carries.

Who handles the orders once the store is live?

You and your staff do, and I make sure you're ready. Training covers finding new orders, printing shipping labels, updating inventory, and adding products, and you get the session recording to refer back to. I stay reachable after launch for anything that comes up.

Can the store connect to my point-of-sale system?

Often, yes. Square, Clover, and Shopify POS can sync inventory between your counter and your website so you're not selling something online that just walked out the door. Tell me what you run in the shop and I'll confirm what's possible before quoting.
