Our Story

Why we started, and why it still matters

Ampere Creative Group started out of genuine frustration. Too many good small businesses in Southeast Iowa were getting burned by agencies that made big promises and delivered mediocre results. Business owners would spend thousands on a website they were embarrassed to share, or on an SEO retainer that moved nothing for months.

We started simple: build great websites for local businesses, help them show up on Google, and give them a brand they were proud to put on a business card. The results spoke for themselves and word spread.

Today, Ampere Creative handles everything from custom web development and local SEO to B2B digital marketing and cinematic wedding videography across Iowa. But the philosophy has never changed: do incredible work, be genuinely helpful, and treat every client like they are the most important business we work with, because they are.

We are not a massive agency juggling hundreds of accounts. We keep our client roster small on purpose so every business we work with gets our full attention. When you work with Ampere, you are not a ticket number.

Born and raised in Southeast Iowa, I started Ampere Creative because I watched too many great local businesses get outperformed online by bigger competitors with bigger budgets. I have been building websites and running digital marketing campaigns since I was a teenager, and I genuinely still love it.

When I am not deep in a website build or a local SEO campaign, you will find me behind a camera filming weddings across Iowa, trying out new tools, or spending time with my wife and daughter here in Bloomfield.
